**OK, we know what we said
- never pay for P2P. We’re not getting soft on you - we stand firmly by that credence. But if there was ever just one exception to the rule - it’s this. Looking to get into that oh-so-coveted private BitTorrent site, but you don’t have an invite? Ever tried ‘trading’ private BitTorrent invites only to get ripped off? You’re not alone.**
We know the hassles of trying to get into a great BitTorrent website. TrackerChecker never green flags them, btracs.com doesn’t post them, and P2P forums everywhere are loaded with messages from people who want in but don’t post any working invite codes.
Why not skip all the crap and just buy your way in?
Torrent Auction
Recently launched
www.torrentauction.com is taking private
BitTorrent accounts to the next level. Users can buy, sell and bid on
existing private accounts - from as little as $3. To quote Torrent
Auction:
Torrent Auction is the first online market place covering all your other torrent needs. It’s your one stop shop for invites, accounts, trackers, domains and more - and it’s totally free!
Buying
Private BitTorrent accounts are listed on the homepage, and include both invites and full accounts from some well-known sites such as FunFile.org, BitSoup.org, what.cd, ScT and torrentleech.org.
Cost-wise, “invites” are typically cheaper, but good VIP accounts can also be purchased for a little extra. Users can add accounts to their “watch-list” to keep track of ‘bids’ on specific accounts. Don’t feel like waiting? - Select the BUY OUT option to get it right away! Torrent Auction accepts either PayPal or MoneyBookers for secure online payments.

Selling
Got some sweet invites that you’d like to part with? Well, you could always find a friend to dump them onto, or try your luck at trading them (good luck!), but why not set up shop in Torrent Auction and do business, instead! This place is like eBay for Torrent sites! Users can create their very-own “store” with lists of accounts/invites for sale. Browse other stores within the community.

Account Trading
While Torrent Auction is not about trading accounts, we would expect that some “sellers” are open to trading, in addition to selling them. This is worth a shot, and far less risky than trading invites in some P2P forum. Contact each seller and see what they say. Word is, they’ll be reciprocative.
Turn it into a mini-business
Why not try to make a good profit out of it? Here’s a few tips:
— Start collecting accounts. Visit P2P Forums that offer invites - dig around. Here’s one that should start you off (working registration code included):
http://www.funfile.org - reg. # - b09105e7ed69e138dcd460f45879b6de
(NOTE: funfile.org is for sale there for $10).
— Buy “Invites” cheap. Some private BitTorrent sites will “upgrade” your invite account to a full-blown account after a certain amount of time (as long as you’ve been a model citizen). Then you may get your own invites, in which you can sell.
— Get accounts at newer, smaller sites that have the potential to be going places. Once registrations close, you’ll be able to sell your existing “invites”, or even your account.
Good luck, have fun - and put those public BitTorrent sites to shame!

I have my eye on a few there
sharky Says:
Yeah, and most of them are very affordable. For the price of 2 BlockBuster rentals, you get great access to some much-coveted private BitTorrent sites.
Warren Says:
awesome idea imo I’m def gonna look at picking up some invites.
danielzzzztop Says:
haha its so obvious the first 3 posts are the same person or person (s) affiliated with each other. Whoever pays 10 euros for a bittorrent account is an idiot

Freder Says:
Well considering one of them is the person who submitted the article…
I’m actually looking at the Funfile Account for 10 US not Euro
sharky Says:
Why don’t you just use the FUNFILE that I posted above? I posted the reg code, and tested it earlier this evening - it worked!

I think this is a horrible idea. It goes against the whole idea of “sharing”. Honestly letting just anyone(including music/movie industry hacks) join private sites is a real lack of security foresight. Private sites are not that appealing from from a proactive security standpoint. Most if not all will not work effectively from behind proxies or the use of VPN’s. My couple bucks a month goes toward my VPN account. I have my own private site which consists of my favorite movie rental establishment and DVD Shrink. I am not against private bittorrent sites as they fill a niche, but this “auction your invite” is a slippery slope indeed.
TPB+VPN FTW!
Private Tracker Owner Says:
I am co-owner of a large sought after private tracker. While this might sound like a great idea to a lot of people I can’t stress enough - don’t do it. Contrary to what most people think, we DO NOT condone selling invites or invite trading. We are private for a lot of very good reasons and try very hard to watch who we allow into our site.
Staff from many different sites work together to monitor a hell of a lot of trading sites/boards and i’ve lost count of the amount of people we have banned for trading. Don’t think you will just end up getting banned from the one tracker, staff at private trackers do talk and swap traders and cheaters details. Get banned from my site and you’ll find yourself banned from over 40 others. Fact.
bj Says:
i hope that site gets taken down.
as #8 said, there is a very good chance that people buying invites will get caught and banned, and hence waste their money.
and as #4 said, it’s so obvious that the different posts saying that it’s a great idea/site are posted by the same person. what a sleaze.
avoid the site at all costs
MarkupMaster Says:
God..
This torrentauction site is a disgrace to all Private Torrent Trackers.
This is literally giving anyone access to private torrent sites if they are willing to pay.
ksauron Says:
such sites need to be taken down..and anyone affiliated to ‘em be globally banned.
‘nuf said!
