Ordinarily we wouldn’t do a full-page spread on just any new tracker that comes along - if we did, we’d have 938 pages on just this alone. But occasionally we come across a newcomer that has some darn good potential, as is the case with Be A Scener. BSC is a brand-new 0day/Scene tracker with some very impressive pre-times that compete with (and even beat) some of the best 0day trackers.
Skeptics will say, "So what makes this tracker any different than any other new tracker?". For starters, BSC is a pure 0day tracker - something lacking as of late in a BitTorrent world full of "general" trackers. It’s best to let BSC explain it:
We’re a new tracker, strictly scene material, automatic torrent uploading by our self coded bot. Torrents raced directly from topsites - no uploaders, making pre times amazing. Staff consists of current and former sceners. Signups will cease at 5K at which point the only way to join is by invitation. This is no ordinary wannabe tracker, we have been testing with different scripts and tracker configurations for the past year and feel now is the time.
Public signups are now currently open at http://beascener.com. We should note that their ’self-coded’ bot - aka "AUTOBOT" (you’ll figure it out) offers freeleech at random times (fun!).
Staff at BSC obviously have a good-natured sense of humour, which is evident by browsing the forums. Here’s their tongue-in-cheek response to whom they are, and why they started the site:
Already there’s a decent amount of torrents (442 - and a new one is added about every two minutes) which isn’t bad for this being their first day open - expect this to increase dramatically due to AutoBot’s uploading prowess. Staff is also considering the idea of making BSC a ratio-free site, which would obviously increase leechers and torrent activity. With a 5,000 member limit, Be A Scener just may be that tracker we’ll all wished we’d signed up for when we had the chance.

Isn’t crime-provocation illegal in most countries, rendering the evidence useless? I know it is here, and they can not get a search warrent/info on the ip-number for a crime like that here anyway. If you’re in a country like that just seed and be happy. If you’re in the US, register and wait to see if it’s green.

we all know that the top p2p sites all have auto-uploaders and very good design. However, they all keep what they do quiet. Obviously they get stuff direct from scene axx ftp and auto upload it but they don’t claim to be a staff run by scene and ex scene members. This is just dumb imho

There might be feds on SCL and FTN yes, those are known insecure trackers. SCT doesn’t have any feds as far as I know.
SCT is the top torrenttracker on the net when it comes to illegal distribution of pirated software.

beascener.com is a DNS so they have to what for the site to relocate to the IP address, could take a couple days to a week

All serious race sites have auto grab and upload implemented into their sites, this is nothing new or cutting edge. There pretimes are nothing to shout about, they are pretty run of the mill from what I seen.

All I seen was juvenile rants by tigerlilly or w/e the sysops name is raving on about how elite they are and how lame everyone else is. Having a sysop spam more than 1 forum with the exact same juvenile unfounded verbal diaorhhea just made me click the “logout” option.

There is no way AUTOBOT is running on high quality servers. Theres no way you can afford that.
- How else do you think we could push over 300 torrents a day so far? AUTOBOT transfers the file, uploads it and then seeds 2x. so on every 700MB movie thats 2.1GB. He also needs a lot of diskspace to be able to keep all that stuff on his harddrive. For something like that to be possible we need a lot of bandwith and big hardware. The $2500 is split up between 5 people, Kerik, I, and 3 others who wont be named. We’ve been planning this for a year, and the money has been put aside periodically over this time - we’ve put away enough to keep AUTOBOT running 3 months just on our own funds. The sky is the limit for AUTOBOT, he is a monster and will only grow. I think haters are just mad they dont have the resources to create the flesh eating fiend that is AUTOBOT.

On Day 1 we are pushing pre-times that are pretty damn close to all the big names in the game that have been around for YEARS. And a lot more torrents than most newcomers. I think they’re still working out some kinks in AUTOBOT, but I have faith that soon the site will be up and fully functional, and after 5,000 decent members it will lock down and it will be just as hard as ScT or FTN to get access to
