Por favor, necesito ayuda. Tengo instalado el Podmailing y aunque figura como conectado, no descarga nada. Lleva así varios días. Alguien podría ayudarme para ver qué es lo que está mal.
No se si este es el sitio correcto, pero no encuentro ningún domicilio de correo de Podmailing.

You can choose how long they are kept on server, currently up to 1 month.

That is the duration for which we take care of BitTorrent seeding and http downloading. But after that we keep tracking the torrents anyway…

This is a godsend. My n00b brother can’t be bothered with learning about torrenting so I sometimes have to send him content via AIM. This is a much more viable solution. Can’t wait to try this when I get home.

Yes the MacOS X version has been there from the start !

On the Linux front we do have a working version but we keep it to ourselves until we have time to release it as open source. Admittedly we keep pushing that back because of all the features we want to add first on the service side.

I use it to send large movie files that I have torrented in the UK, this is the best, I asked sharky to write about this Podmail email service, so podamail team btw….heheeheh did I not sharky? shane

On behalf of the Podmailing team, thanks a lot for that review Sharky, especially for you thorough test drive. I’m curious as to what country the test was performed from. We try to provide great speed to everyone but your mileage can vary.

We are seeing more and more people use Podmailing to publish torrents publicly, as it’s obviously more convenient than making a torrent and seeding it yourself. So let me seize the occasion to let you know we have a new “file hosting” oriented service in the works, which goes way beyond the “email large file” feature.

I get upload speeds to servers of 100KBPs, HTTP downlaods via web broswer of 1MBps. Podmail software of 1MBps and I havent bothered with torrent apps as this appears fast enough and doesnt show your ISP that your file sharing. I have uploaded 2.5 GB HD movies and sent to people and they have downlaoded them within 30mins at speeds of 1- 1.5MBps!!! Fabulous stufff, and thanks for writing about it Sharky, I wanted to see a new perspective…
