My pal tried it yesterday on windows xp and it worked perfectly so this seems to be only an issue on windows vista because of the enhanced security controls. Switching "Protection Mode" Off seems to do the trick. @Quantic

Anyway, LimeWire is so simple to install and use that I don't see any advantages for the web browser. Besides, what is this G3 protocol? Their own, proprietary network?
