When you donate, you get access to every power user feature, “excluding” the special forums.

So, while donating has definite benefits, you’ll still want to become a power user to access the special forums.

So who is right, WHOOP or A/S/L? I’m pretty new to What.CD, so I want to know what do I get for donating. To rewrite my question: can I get access to the special forum with a donation or not?

Donor’s get access to all the power user features. i.e. donate and you’ll have access to all of the above without actually officially being a power user.

no you can’t. you get donor status by donating, but that doesn’t get you acces to the special forums

i reckon the best part of being a power user is being able to access the top 10. makes it must easier to see/seed whats popular and build thy buffer.

yep it’s really that good, i’m a what.cd power user

i’m not a power user on waffles though, how do the perks compare? i presume there’s a power user forum and at least a specific invites thread, (as OiNK had these) if not an invites forum like what.cd. but i’m not sure of the other benefits, i mean i’ve bought power search, top 10 and privacy features in the points shop, so i was wondering what i’m missing out on.
