TorrentDam - The Mac OS X Torrent Search Utility

Finally, Mac OS X users have a torrent search utility to call their own. Introducing TorrentDam, a brand-new public tracker metasearch tool. It’s free, it’s tiny (at just 592 KB), and it’s open source! TorrentDam allows users to search up to 7 different popular public trackers, including Mininova, ThePirateBay, IsoHunt & Demonoid.

While the interface is somewhat rudimentary in its inaugural début v1.0, users are able to select & deselect certain sites from the list of 7 before conducting a search. Which is handy if you’re one of the last remaining holdouts that doesn’t yet have an account at Demonoid.com.

Here’s a YouTube video that explains how TorrentDam works:

Mac Version: TorrentDam works only with OS X v10.4 and up.

Safari Tip: You can open search engines on multiple tabs. In Safari General preferences check “Open links from applications: in a new tab in the current window”.

Hmmm, I suppose this is good but nothing can compare to Bit Che - searching any public and a huge variety of private trackers just cant be beat.

I’d suggest Mac users run some king of virtual machine/emulator for windows and use it, it really is the best multi-tracker search solution around.
