Another exciting
new torrent invites forum that recently opened their doors is
NeonScene.net. NeonScene is designed a little
differently, and is divided into three distinct forum segments. There’s
the Main Forum for announcements, general discussion and news; then
there’s the Torrent Invites section for tracker recruitment, torrent
news, requests & giveaways; and lastly there’s the Off-Topic
Chat area for tutorials, release discussions (movies, TV, etc) and
everything else. NeonScene has already amassed almost 500 members since
their official launch in December, and there’s been more than 160
giveaway threads.
NeonScene… A Look Inside
Number of Members — Currently, there’s 443.
Invite / Account Trading? — NeonScene is a non-trading forum.
“Rep” System? — Yes, similar to any other forum.
Special “Rep” System? — Yes, called the i Reward system. Unlike other forums that allow for ‘rep’ to be given for just about everything, the i Reward only applies to torrent invitations. Invitees must submit specific information (“deal thread URL” and a short comment) after receiving the invite, in which staff will approve the reward point. Invitees who fail to give an i-Reward after a giveaway are liable to receive a negative “rep” from the inviter.
Tracker Recruitment — Yes, there’s a recruitment thread. Requires 20 or more posts to enter.
Invite Giveaways — You’ll need to make a minimum of 10 posts before being able to view the giveaways. There’s also a private (VIP) High Level Invite Giveaways section.
Invite Requests — Yes, requires a 30-post minimum to view this thread. There’s also a private (VIP) High Level Invite Requests section.
Last 10 Giveaways — TiT, ScL, SCC, IPT, TheSurgeons, ICTorrents, Learnbits, BitGamer, TL, BitMeTV
Tracker Reviews — Currently, there’s 65 reviews.
Seedbox Reviews — Yes (presently 15). Each seedbox company is neatly organized in its own thread here, where members can discuss each one.
Donations / VIP access — “For a $30 donation you will receive lifetime VIP along with access to higher level giveaways, special upper level unreadily available invites and full access to all restricted forums, information, hidden IRC rooms and forums, and other exciting incentives.”

About Invite Giveaways — We’ve found the giveaway rules to be the least strict of any torrent forum (perhaps because they’re so new). Many invites are just freely handed out; and others require a speedtest and ratio proof(s).
NeonScene IRC:
NeonScene has their own IRC server at 72.8.167.50:6667. You’ll need to first register yourself before being able to join their channels:

IRC Giveaways — NeonScene has an IRC channel set up specifically for tracker invitations in their #invites channel. Other channels include #NeonScene, #VIP, and #help.

Unlike many other invite sites it does not seem so far to be full of thieves and scammers. The fact it’s a non trading site obvously helps and the staff are good. Been a member since it opened and have given away a few high level invites and received a few back.
It’s an excellent site with a committed userbase. Hopefully it’s on the rise and will be appreciated by more in the future.

I like the review. Neonscene is the best in tracker invite forums. I’ve been here since day one and wouldn’t change it a bit. All the admin and moderators can be trusted unlike other sites. Also all the members are respectable and not Scammers/Traders.

For the minority of haters that seem to be slating neonscene:
Firstly, as was mentioned, we are a new site, which is conitinually upgrading and improving. We, the owners AND our members feel we do have that bit extra to give and offer. There are lots of invites available, including high level invites, which are regularly given away, unlike some sites i was a member of which CLAIM to give FTN, ScT on a regular basis, but is a lie just to lure you there.
Secondly, we have a suggestions and feedback section, which is taken very seriously and 99.5% of suggestions have been implemented on a trial basis, if the members like it, it says, if it fails, it goes. We have just introduced an arcade for members to enjoy, which was suggested and appears to be a great success. We have made our forums anti-trades, specifically for the purpose of protecting our members. There are lots of people that are willing to exploit people and scam them, for this reason, no traders are allowed what-so-ever.
We are trying to make our forums muti-genre, and not just specifically for the distribution of private tracker invites. There are a lots of ideas in the pipeline which will be tried and tested in the near future.
Thanks again for your support and kind review and hope to see some new names in the forums.

I have been a member there from the start as well and Neonscene has LOTS of high level giveaways everywhere. I got an invite to ScT from there, and it seems like every other giveaway is HDBITS, BMTV, TL or similar sites. I would recommend joining quickly before people catch on and start snapping up all of the invites.

Neonscene was spawned when a bunch of members from another tracker invite site decided to branch off (in a bit of a huff). I wish them well with their new site but cant participate because I have been banned for still being a member of the original site…
What I saw of the new site I liked - looked like it had some promise. Some of the admin are solid community members and so I think it will do well (like Tryst above) - as long as they can keep the more immature/radical members at bay (and yes, I do mean qaazaa).

At the time of this being posted, our site is down for a short period, possibly for upto 12 hours. In-line with our continual improvements, we are currently upgrading our hosting server, so then we can add more custom settings etc to keep members entertain and happy with the site
I see more positive comments about NeonScene, thanks guys, makes it all the more worthwhile, knowing that the stuff we do, members like and enjoy.

At the moment, NeonScene is still up, and will remain up. However, we are now at http://www.neonscene.org There was a prob with the domain and we’re trying to get it so it points to .org so we have both names.
So, for now, you will have to use http://www.neonscene.org which has had a revamp after another invite site decided to steal our colour scheme and theme.

There has been and still ongoing a major overhaul of the site. At one point we had an attack on our site by a rival forum out of jealousy

site, which is a tad sad to stoop so low to get members.
Anyways, as i said, we are still aroun, giving good invites. In fact, atm there is a great competition on for someone to win an FTN invite. To be in with a chance to win, join up and take part, everyone welcome except traders, that is still and always a 100% no go for you guys.
Oh and evanlove21, lame attempt at thread jacking, WAS hosted on a free forum, which had to be removed for several reason by their host….oh dear!!
