to find invites & private tracker chat? After a somewhat lengthy
downtime Invite Nation has returned as version
2.0 - and looks better than ever. Invite-Nation first began back in
March 2007 but ran into some funding and database problems earlier this
year. The site & forum went through a complete overhaul recently
(and a new domain) and current members mostly consist of mods, admins
and VIPs from the old site - and has finally decided to go semi-public.
Currently I-N is not open directly to new members, however invites are easily attainable through their IRC channel (there’s no interview - just ask).

Last words: I-N has a good group of experienced torrenters, many that you’ll recognize from other forums. Their rules aren’t overly strict, and there are no “off limit” trackers. The forum is well organized without dozens of topics that don’t concern BitTorrent. There’s also a great tagging system for the GA threads which is great for finding invites to specific trackers.

As far as I know it did allow trading, but that was a long time ago. I joined in july 2008 and there was no sign of trading then.
Well, yeah, we don’t check much, but the traders etc. will be dealt with. You could help us find them instead of whining… Or are you one o them?

So That prove my point a site full of traders , the old proverb being a leopard never changes his spots and with your admin (MKZ) being at the very least a former Trader ( I take its the same guy from Canada that was called McKeezey before who we banned before from our tracker .) and the same admin that opens users private messages by default just be carefull if your going to hang out here TPS (If you really need to use a invite site ?) would be a safer option and certainly more trustworthy they are currentlly open for sign ups .

WOW, I can see your concern but not everybody who WAS a trader still IS a trader. And being a trader does not mean that you cannot successfully run a forum. And about the opening PMs thing, I don’t know anything about that so I can’t comment on that, but I assure you that nothing of the sort happens. If i know MKZ, he is not the type of person to do that unless for some kind of an extreme situation.
So please, I don’t believe that bashing other forums is going to solve anything. It is the users own discretion on whether to join our forum or not.

Last time we were open you and your little buddies constantly spammed my forum and PMed my members saying the site wasn’t safe which was not true and advertising your site,so who’s the bad guy here.
I opened this forum because I love torrenting and the community that goes along with it,I pay for it out of my own pocket except for the small amount of donations we receive and I give almost all my free time to maintaining the forum and helping members with all kinds of problems.

MKZ is one of the most generous guys I know. Why would he want to trade? He invited me to a couple of trackers and guess what? His accounts are still there, in fact he donated to some sites. So much for trading. Like I said, I don’t know what went on before I joined, but as I understand everyone traded then, even some of the TPS staff (where I’m also a member). Not saying that TPS is not good, it’s great!

This is Bullshit MKz Would never read pm’s, He Is One of the nicest people i ever met on irc and i know some of the above is true but trading was legal one day in the bittorent world. Trading was the method of the day u probably didn’t know alot of other forums were as well. Now it is illegal and i would never condone it but im sure if it was the only way to get invites today and considered ok in the bittorent world then you would to. So shut up with your bullshit.
