Refreshingly, server specs and number of maximum users per box are outlined for each package (something of which many seedbox resellers choose not to provide details for). SavvySeed is more of a long-term seedbox, and offers decent discounts for multi-month contracts.

The Test: Our box was an OVH Kimsufi; were able to ‘burst’ out over 10MB/s DL speed. All in all, good value for the money.

About: Superseeder offers shared seedboxes starting at $20/mo. which includes 15 active torrents and 100 GB storage. All other plans & services come with unlimited torrents and traffic (keep in mind the OVH outside traffic limits).
NOTE: Even their most basic ’shared’ package comes with both SFTP and VNC - so users can connect directly to the uTorrent.exe application on the server, in addition to using uTorrent WebUI). Thus, the ’shared’ plans are VPNs.

You should keep in mind that hard drive access is cached, up to the maximum RAM, minus the RAM used by the BitTorrent client and other apps on the system.
So if there is 2GB of RAM free and you’re seeding a 2GB torrent, it will never even touch the hard drive.

i d/l torrents because i don’t want to pay for stuff. paying £$£$ each month seems to negate that for me, i have no problem seeding, keeping a good ratio and downloading with my ADSL connection. i don’t think it’s a necessity just yet.

I test shared seedbox with dedicated hard disk today at htttp://www.seedbox.org.ua and i amazed - seeding speed at 12-18MB/s at torrent with 20+ seeders. Good service.

I ordered from XtremeSeed.com and so far its nothing but hassles. They say they can’t guarantee that there are 5 or less users per server even though it is clearly stated on their site. They also told a friend of mine that they average speed is around 3MB/s which means it is definitely not a gbit server. Also, they will not say what datacenter they are using and act like they have their own. They never directly answered a question and seemed to avoid talking to people who know what theyre talking about
I have been waiting over 36 hours (3 times longer than the advertised setup time) and I have not received my slot or an answer from support.

I’d like to cast a bit of color for everyone around the following question: “How long does it take to receive one’s box on Savvyseed.net?”
Truth is, we manage to maintain our prices closer to break-even than the vast majority out there. In light of this, we can’t keep unfilled servers simply on reserves; waiting for customers to fill seats…. The revenues and expenses are too in-line to do so. Why do we do this? Well, we want to provide a “benefit” to the community, and this is our form of giving back to the community at TPS.
With that said, we maintain a queue which is updated daily. We order our servers with roughly 60 to 75% capacity, and hardware typically takes 2 to 3 business days.

Hmm we’ve only had one case where there was technical difficulty DANNY1010 and that was because our provider had issues on there end. In addition to them having a weekend + holiday so it did take a while. And for that we apologize. We wait untill we fill up a certain amount of users before we order the hardware. So it all depends on the queue which we keep updated constantly. For all those that subscribe to us and continue to support us thank you =). Expect better things from us in the near future.

The remark about xirvik being expensive it’s a bit unfair. We offer a wide country selections, and servers in some countries are expensive, that’s just the way it is.
However, for $49.95 you can get a fully dedicated server, 250 Gb, unlimited torrents… as long as you are OK with it being in France.

I would like to add another comment to the pile of good info on SavvySeed from TPS.
In my personal opinion, SavvySeed + TPS = the absolute best situation with a seedbox provider, that anyone could ever ask for.
Where else can you not only talk to your provider, not only as a customer, but as a friend?
Where else can you actually talk to your provider everyday?
Not only that, but TPS is in my opinion……………………The most tight nit community on the net.
We have a guy for everything at TPS and Wall-e is one of the nicest and most patient guys that you could ever hope to have running your boxes.
bubbl3 will teach you how to secure your box, and Simpliztic is just as helpful as either of them, in his own right.
When you come to TPS, all you have to do is be respectful and follow the rules…………..
If you can manage that, then you can have some of the best boxes on the net, with some of the best service on the net, without ever worrying once about being ripped off or scammed.

I’ve joined up to burstbox today and have had very good service, the speeds are brilliant and the pricing is the best I have come across since I’ve been searching for a seedbox. I’ve been chatting with the admin and he is very helpful and friendly. I found out about the website from this site and thought that I should leave my comment. Got to say i was very skeptical and thought it was going to be a scam….. but I bit my teeth and tried it seems as its only a couple of dollars wasted if i got ripped off but I am surprised at how good the service is and glad I went for it.
Would recommend his service to anyone. 5 stars

Great to be advertised here on this site, although i would like to make some remarks.

- € 12,50 is not expensive if you get 30GB and 6 max torrents on a 2×2GHZ dualcore server
We dont use utorrent because you cant make torrents, and yes we provide excellent nzb + torrentflux combo for just € 37,50

Ow by the way there are just 5 users on a server and the Harddrive is nog 30GB it´s 225GB shared (30GB per user, more on request and if possible)
I think someone here should contact us before making statements because some facts are not correct.
Anyway the hosts above our review are told to have better deals but we dont have webui utorrent and they do and you cannot make torrents with that and with Torrenflux you can.
