Under normal circumstances we wouldn’t
advocate for P2L (pay2leech) sites; everything you’ll ever need to
download is freely available on torrent trackers. But if you have a
little extra money to burn, or aren’t able to use the BitTorrent
protocol - PirateFTP can be your alternative to getting the freshest
0sec scene releases. PirateFTP is a scene FTP
dumpsite (think: “topsite”) that sells unlimited access leech slots
for about the same cost as a moderate seedbox. All without having to
worry about seeding and ratio.
FileShareFreak inquired whether or not if this is a bonafide scene FTP, or just an FTP site that has some decent scene access. PirateFTP’s sysop replied:
“It is a scene site. It is, no matter if you believe it or not. We have well known affiliates, and racers. Go compare it to a “topsite”, you won’t see much of a difference. Granted our site has only been up one month - which only means we will get more racers and we will be bringing in more content. Currently we have 10TB of diskspace but we are looking to increase that to 20TB.
We’ve been experiencing a lot of hate and that’s understandable, it’s only from other people who sell leech who try to smear us. They’re mad that we give unlimited leech for $35 while they make poor people pay 50 euros for something like 200GB, or those private torrent sites that make people have to maintain a seedbox and also donate to them.”
There you have it. $35 bucks a month for instant scene access and unlimited data transfer for 0sec scene releases. All without the headache of maintaining private tracker ratios, seedboxes, or home PC torrent clients. Better still, it’s completely secure: your IP address is never in a torrent swarm - even private trackers can expose you.
Our Tests:
We were lucky enough to be able to take PirateFTP for a spin. Download speeds were very acceptable, and ranged between 250 - 300 KB/s in two separate trials. Content is updated frequently; with terabytes of scene releases available - it would be virtually impossible to snag all of it, especially since “more than 100 GBs are added daily”.

Who am I:
- I state that it costs $6,000 pounds per month in server costs to run me;
- I sell pay2leech slots under the guise of ViP Donations (this is a bit vague I agree);
- I dont allow people to search for users because I dont want to alert the public to the amount of users I have paying for site access; and
- My administration staff have publicly posted in my IRC in the past that the only way to gain an account with me is to ‘PAY’, for it.
Paying for access to either an FTP site or a BT site there really isnt much of a difference.
I know of but a very few number of sites that actually use the donations they obtain from users to actually furnish the cost of their server costs, but for those that arnt able to spot these they are usually the sites that dont do the following:
- allow credit related renumeration for donations;
- allow any other form of download/upload related renumerations;
- dont send you site messages every few days stating that they have a special one off offer where by you donate and receive either double credit that is applied usually or receive 1tb of upload data for a limited amount of time (then repeat the same offer the following week);
- state that you need to donate to gain access to their porn collection as most online monetary services are only avaliable to those whom are not under a ‘LEGAL’, disability (for going that all online services have clauses in their T&C’s stating this is illegal regardless);
- send both a site wide message as well as an e-mail to the signup address you used on site (seriously wtf);
- Purchase an Audi with donation’s received; and
- many others that I’m sure you have spotted and are aware of.
FileShareFreak and its administrators are a bunch of hypocrits and always have been, I look foward to ready more contradictory articles both stolen and fabricated by you in the future.

This particular one didn’t seem to bad, $35 for unlimited access, it is only a shame about the transfer speeds but perhaps that was just in this instance.

You already pay to pirate if you use your personal connection for P2P… a part of the amount of your ISP subscription is linked to their cost of bandwidth. A part of your electric bill, and your hardware budget is linked to the hours you let your computer online to leech and seed.
And “free” is nice, but sometimes boring… if you want speed you have to pay again for a seedbox, an usenet or RS service…
