Here at FSF, we’ve got the fast track to a
cornucopia of brand-new private trackers. Some are still in beta, just
waiting for the right time to open up to the masses. One such site that
we’ve kept a lid on is SnB - a brand-new “general” tracker using
What.cd’s Gazelle codebase. Now officially open, SnB is currently
recruiting new members through IRC, email and even through an online
application form.
**NOTE:
** This tracker is dead, and any reference to it is held for archival purposes only.
SnB originally began as PlanB - a forum-style site that also offered RapidShare downloads, making it a fully-functional hybrid private torrent tracker & DDL site all rolled into one. After making the recent transition to Gazelle, DDL links have been pushed aside in favor of additional features.

“Well after many weeks of work, many sleepless nights and many headaches you have S n B. This site has grown out of our desire to give you the best the torrenting community has to offer. It is obvious that it will take time to build it to the level we want to be but rest assured that the people in charge are working hard to give you an experience you will enjoy.”
SnB Invite System
There are no methods for finding an invitation, since the tracker is dead as doornails.
SSL Only (https)
SnB is all about security, and is set up to use secure-socket layer (SSL) - it doesn’t run over normal HTTP. While the tracker itself is regular HTTP, switching it over to SSL-only is in the works for the future. Feel secure when posting links (in torrent details, comments, or in the forum) - all external links are automatically anonymized through anonym.to.
Image Hosting & The Gallery
One interesting feature is that SnB offers internal image hosting for all members. Users can upload a virtually limitless number of image files (jpg or png). For example, custom user avatars should be uploaded to the Gallery, and linked to (in the user profile) from there.

Upcoming Features
- • Streaming Theater - Feature-length full movies will be streamed via the site, and for sampling movie torrents that exist on the tracker.
- • Custom radio feed, running off preset playlists.
- • Seedbox service available to members.
- • HTTPS tracker.

Oh, looks like a cool site, but pretty lame interface… :/
SHA-256 Says:
To be honest, nothing is there. I was expecting more
Arm1n Says:
Cracking site. Many features and more, cheers Sharky

Seems like a great set of features but my concern would be if so secure and private why would they advertise its existance so publically. Also the site is SSL secure but it says the tracker is not.? Maybe I’m being sceptical but I cannot see the major changes to the gazelle source and function.? The title suggests that its the latest gazelle, what has been changed to the source to say that its more then a gazelle based torrent sites.
The promise of these extra features are promising but not a new concept as many private trackers boast these features already.
Sorry for the scepticism but I’m not convinced, maybe a source release to show the major updates and edits would elevate the doubt.
redthehat Says:
This site is pretty quiet at the moment, considering that they are recruiting members at the moment and all this is definately not a problem. The tracker has huge potential, the interface does what it needs to do (with all gazelle trackers, I am sure people can use their own external css to make it look better if that is a huge problem. Staff are very welcoming, and there are a huge amount of features on the way from what I hear. https is also very welcome, alot of other trackers that use ssl are extremely slow to browse, however SnB has done a great job making this a fast site to browse.
I’d recommend all to jump on board, and help get some action with the torrents that are on there. As I said, the tracker has some huge potential.

@ISPY
Even in
sweden that’s illegal to do
nothing really has been done
anonym.to is a simple 10 second mod from projectgazelle.org
force https is what… under 10 lines generally
The only ‘major’ thing would be the upload image thing… everything else is pretty much stock gazelle
And https tracker is what you want, ssl site doesn’t really matter anything. tracker announces are proof of downloading/transfering stuff… accessing the site doesn’t mean jack…
Plus, streaming movies will make this a very short lived tracker indeed
ASdf Says:
I’m getting tired of that everybody are using gazelle, it’s just boring jo join a site and then see that it looks exactly like the site you just left…
DS Says:
@ASDF: if your just jumping from site to site then maybe you need to reconsider your ideas. isnt that hard to find a good tracker for each of your needs…
@Randomguy: its a new site did you really expect all the coding to be done and finished. from what i hear there will be some interesting stuff happening in the weeks to come.
imho its a pretty good new tracker, lots of active people makes for a healthy community. ask for anything and it can be found. any one who is looking for a promising general tracker should definitely try here.
M Says:
@DS
Yes, you would expect a site to be finished with the coding. If you download a new program, don’t you expect it to be done?
sameoldsameold Says:
Well well, not surprisingly this site is no more, another pointless flash in the pan. Why does FSF insist on allowing fly by night wanabes to post there pointless, shallow dreams on this site.? This isn’t doing your reputation any good as a finger on the pulse bittorrent news site. C’mon guys get serious and do some research. All of the guys that posted that this would be the next best thing in BT were associated with the site, and in hindsight are feelihng a little embarressed as I know I would, and of course FSF again another empty announcement to file your pages.
Velocityy Says:
Too bad this site is gone. Whenever I’d visit Skull’n’Bones, all I’d get is a “This site is out of order” message.
