    Does anybody know where I could find a recent ranking of private trackers done by a good source? I know there is one posted on this site, though it’s pretty outdated. The one at privatetrackerlevels says it is updated weekly but the date of the last update is not posted. Any suggestions??

    ScL has some of the best movie packs for XViD that you’ll ever see. Unfortunately, no real DVDR or TVDVDR. If they have better pretimes, it’s only by minutes over the other biggest trackers that blow them away in every other category.
    I’d rate significantly lower than IPT or RevTT. Waaaaaayyyyyy below TL!

    Also, giving people a clue was not a noobish thing to do, ScL has open signups they obviously want and need members, hopefully some people from here can prove themselves to be helpful contributors in making ScL a better tracker.

    Oh and at everyone who doesn’t like this tracker… ScL has been a very secretive tracker and doing so has hurt them in the long run, ScL used to be Teh Shiz back in the day and they have been trying very hard recently to re-gain that awesomeness with invites handed out to everyone & now open signups. Don’t write this tracker off yet, they could easily come back and when/if they do they may once again become very hard to obtain.

    go jump off a cliff, suck it. sceneleech is not the site described in this article. in fact, its probably just some random phishing site suck it put up in a rush so he can lure gullible people into giving him their username and passwords.
    I’ve already been a member at scl for some time, and I think its a bad idea to open signups up completely like this. true, people have been slow at inviting people, but thats probably just becaue they’re afraid of inviting the wrong person, as that usually results in the loss of their accounts. this way, the wrong people gets in (again) no matter what. they should at least have been doing interviews like a lot of other trackers seems to have started doing lately.
    just my 2 cents.

    Big disappointment.

    I came, i looked, i left.

    Many empty or almost empty categories.
    Almost no music, mostly current TV shows, movies, games and some porn.
    The torrents have usually very few seeds (0-5) with some exceptions.
    All the free leech and multiple upload crap suggest many slow dialup users and a few seedboxes.

    I can easily get the same content from eztv, ed2k or usenet without having to jump through loops and kiss admins arses.

    If you are just starting your p2p life, ok, fine, go for it.
    Otherwise don’t bother.

    I really wonder what the fuss is all about.

    It’s a decent torrent site. “Officially”, it’s a level 3 tracker but the ranking system is stupid. Most of the highly ranked trackers are much smaller and have less content than level 2-4 trackers.

    Hmn I joined the site and I am not really impressed ? how come that they claim their uploads is x minuts after pre and still sites like IPtorrent is hours ahead of them ? :O I also compared with some other sites and they don’t seem to be fast at any way, and the content is kind of poor. 1043 torrents in total, So imo basicly nothing to get from the site, and its not even “safe” ( like any “known” torrent sites that people can get acces to is that) .
