sites to our next “New Trackers” article, we thought it be best to
present these two stylish (and purposeful) TBDev-coded trackers now.
Both are specialized trackers; with DocsBits featuring eLearning
torrents, and SceneXvid catering to scene-only XviD rips for TV,
movies and adult releases.

Online for just a few days, DocsBits.com already lists over 115 total torrents and 500+ registered members. Content includes eBooks, magazines, documentaries, science & medical journals and IT/computer-related material. Like most TBDev trackers the layout is clean and easy to browse without needless sidebars, chatboxes & giant category icons.
DocsBits is not an official reincarnate of the now-closed docs.torrents.ro eLearning tracker, but least one ex-staff member is involved in creating this new project as seen in this message on their homepage:

About / Stats
SceneXvid is a brand-new Swedish/English scene tracker that carries XviD releases only - you won’t find DVDRs or x264/HD releases. It’s actually the sister site to SceneDVDr.org (which opened back in mid-June ‘09).
Natively a Swedish-coded TBDev tracker, although content is split almost equally between both Nordic releases and English scene. SceneXvid also has scene access, which is evident in the pretimes that are listed for each torrent.

- Signup Extras: No invites, no upload credit. Users start out at 0/0 - although everything is freeleech (gold titles).

- Uploading: Only ‘uploaders’ are allowed to upload torrents.
- IRC: irc.scenexvid.org/scenexvid (Port 6667 - normal; Port 6696 - SSL)
- Members: 567 (unknown max limit).
SceneXvid has been quick to amass a respectable torrent count, with their oldest active torrent being added on Nov. 4th - they already list 240 active torrents (with more than 100 new torrents added yesterday). There are just six different torrent categories; here’s a breakdown of each:
- SWE (movies) - 5 torrents
- ENG (movies) - 69 torrents
- PACKS - 1 torrent
- XXX - 21 torrents
- TV ENG - 79 torrents
- TV SWE - 67 torrents

No and No!
No it is not a reincarnate of docs.torrents.ro and no, none of the staff from docs.torrents.ro is involved in docsbits.
As a matter of fact soon after the start of docsbits, we, the docs.torrents.ro staff announced the return of the tracker with a new server, new design and new adress.
Soon after that announcement was made we put that promise into practice and reopened the tracker.
The new adress is docspedia.org which makes it more international rather than romanian. It can still however be accessed through the old link docs.torrents.ro. We came back with the last db backup that was done when we closed. Everything but torrents. That included usernames with ratios and such, and forums.
We currently have open signups, 13k members registered and index around 950 torrents already with about a week from the re-launch.
You might wanna do an article on this.
