Available through IRC, this one-time offer is only available to current ScT members (that don’t currently possess an account at TL). With 20,000 signup slots available, surely this is great news for those looking to join a winning tracker - but act quickly, it won’t last forever.

Depending on the releases that previous ScT-members look for, they won’t all be joining TL although it might be a nice refuge considering packs and so on (including legal infiltration).
Bet lot of people will be wating for ScT2 or go back to their roots and/or other means of comms…

i would have thought there would be some members who would set up another site to replace ScT, although this isn’t as simple (as it was when OPP went down) as getting the community on board, it’s a matter of getting the uploaders with axx on board, otherwise the new site will be dead.
if there is no popular new site with decent uploaders set up to replace ScT, SCC will become the greatest 0day site in the history of the internet; it is already taking in loads of ScT refugees. the number of peers on each new torrent has gone up about 60-70%, and the response in the forums has been excellent, considering the longstanding rivalry between the two sites. it’s a similar thing i would have thought to what would happen if either waffles or what went down.

Heaventracker is as well offering invites on their irc for sct users. Don’t know why you don’t mention them here.
HT has almost 18,000 torrents: english, german, polish and others. Great pre times, multi-national community and staff is one of the most friendliest out there.

I can’t understand a shit on HT because of polish language. All announcements are in polish. And english forum counts only 22 topics. I would say if you’re not polish you won’t find there anything more then just a tracker (with polish and german releases)

DH is open signups. Comparable pretimes to ScT, SCC, TiT etc.
DH has been around longer then most sites at almost 4 years now with a big community, easy to seed torrents, bonuses etc.

Realy bad attitude from the guys in TL was asking for a guys email to send a screenshot of my utorrent DL from sct but the guy flipped and was rude. Private torrent sites are a cancer that is killing the scene. It breaks us down into little pockets of over-eager mod fans, desperate to play along, and each small, private tracker can be picked off one by one by the IP cops. It’s ludicrous to imagine that keeping a site “private” prevents cops from MAFIAA from joining.
