We figured that RevolutionTT.net would at least wait until the new year to open public registration, but they’re doing things a little early this time around. On Christmas Day, starting at 00:00 GMT, RevoTT will open for as little as 24 hours (or less, depending on how many members sign up) so get in early! Also SceneSound.org - a 0day music tracker - will also be opening signups on Dec. 24th. - Signup link:

If you’re having problems signing up, it’s because cheaters/scammers are not welcome. Our RevoTT insider confirmed that this time around, certain IPs have been blocked.

The staff at RevoTT are celebrating Christmas 2009 and New Year with a BANG!!, so the following will run from: 00:00 on Fri 25th of December 2009.

Rules
- NO dupe accounts allowed, no exceptions will be made, 1 IP Address = 1 Account.
- The doors may close early if the Maximum accounts are reached, it’s better to sign-up A.S.A.P. just to be on the safe side.
- Make sure you follow tracker rules and don’t do anything stupid (cheating, dupes, etc.).

Wait Times

The Torrent Wait Time System will be switched off to give new members an opportunity get off to a really good start, as well it will benefit many existing members at the same time, so do not take this as an opportunity to leech torrents, seed, seed, seed and seed some more.

IRC Bonus

It’s an easy way to win GB’s of free upload credit for your RevolutionTT account. Everyone who’s in #RevolutionTT At the time of the highest channel peak will win, and be awarded an upload credit on their account.

It is recommended that you install an IRC client to avoid any disconnects, due to too many trying to use the Websites Java Client. Windows users may want to install mIRC, Linux and Windows users may wish to use XChat. Remember to read the channel topic, no mentioning other trackers, no PM’ing staff without asking, English only, NO CAPS/COLOURS to name a few points, you will be kicked from the channel, persistent offenders will be IRC disabled, in other words: Behave yourself, don’t insult members/staff, but do have fun.

You must use the invite code from the above link to join the channel, staff will not invite members into the channel as the bot will not be able to award the account in the event of channel peak. Staff will not be spending a week or two sorting this out this year, if you don’t get a bonus, then you weren’t in the channel at the time of the highest peak.

If the highest peak is between 2000 and 3999 then everyone will be awarded 10GB, 4000 - 5999 is 20GB, 6000 - 7999 is 30GB - 8000 -9999 is 40GB, 10000 or more and its 50GB.

RevolutionTT banned countries on signups (updated):

There are some exceptions to who qualifies for this. As of our Goodwill Weekend many of you may have heard we blocked certain countries from signup to Revolutiontt. This decision wasn’t made lightly, since opening the site so many years ago we’ve had several geographic locations that continue to be a issue for us. Not all but most users from these areas are repeatedly breaking site rules and take up a huge amount of staff time to respond to and take appropriate action. As a result membership has been closed to the following countries and current users from these regions are not eligible for invites.

    I dont understand why people go gaga over these private “bluechip” sites as I like to call them.
    I have been a member of these and smaller sites for years now and to be honest, I personally have found no difference apart from larger user bases (and great pr which has put them on peoples most desirable list), as the pre times,content and dl speeds have been the same for what I need, I even left ScienceHD after a few months because I could get the same content elsewhere just as fast (whom by the way I think are open for signups for xmas) and dont have to worry about their 3Gb dl quota.
    As for the fanboys, no site is safe…so if they open sign ups for new members so be it….

    RevoTT doesn’t ban “all” Romanian users - since there’s an active forum area set up for Romanian members - although there’s no mention if certain Romanian IPs are banned. We simply can’t confirm this. Having said that, I’m not being rickrolled from any of the links above, so it’s entirely feasible that certain IP ranges are not welcome to sign up. Time will tell on this…

    Its still open and will run untill the 3rd Jan unless max accounts are reached. Should it be closed earlier, I will post back here to let everyone know.

    All codes above will work for those who are signing up from a non banned country, or those not using a proxy to bypass the countries ban.

    If you are one of those banned from open signup, the only way in is by an invite of an existing member through the normal invite system.
