Under normal circumstances FSF doesn’t
often review older trackers, as torrent forums pretty much have this
market adequately cornered. But since we couldn’t find a review on
Seedmore.org anywhere, we thought we’d put
it out there. On the surface SeedMore is a Wordpress blog, very much
similar to yours truly, except without all the P2P content. But
underneath the bogus blog, there lies a well-established private tracker
with more than 13,800 torrents. We should also mention that they’re open
for registration.
SeedMore has always aimed to keep a low profile - but has recently chosen to go ‘open reg’ for a limited time:

:** Bonus is calculated as Clams (aka.. Clam$), which can be achieved by seeding (1.0 Clam per seeding hour per torrent), as well as for idling in their IRC channels. Clam$ can be used to purchase ‘VIP’ and other bribery in the clam$ bonus page, as well as to gamble in the games section (called Atlantic City).

With friendly staff and a tight group of members, SeedMore is as much about community as they are about the torrents. The theme is a ‘mafioso’ one - everything is related to the mob.
Content: Just about all mainstream scene releases can be found on the tracker, with competitive pretimes on the torrents. Can’t find it? Then request it through “Ask A Favor”. SeedMore has a team of uploaders that can seek the torrent and bring it to the tracker. Staff will respond to this favor and make the need known.
Speed: Most everything ‘new’ is hosted through multiple site seedboxes to ensure fast DL speeds. Seedbox-hosted torrents are specially marked with an easy-to-identify symbol.
Packs: Offers a variety of special packs, including daily 0Day (apps) packs, as well as ‘portable’ packs. All ‘packs’ are always freeleech.

Got to say the site is rubbish , very few leechers and seeders on the torrents and lots of dead torrents , the site design is also very confusing and certainly need to be modernised.

No one is forced to join, and surely not forced to stay a member. We have been around for three years, and we make our bills every month. For those that enjoy it, great. For those that don’t, go elsewhere. Registration is open for a limited time. The site design is unique, and just because it’s not `normal`, doesn’t make it bad. Seedmore is NOT like other trackers.
We enjoy being what we are, which is what we set out to be, a Family. Praise to all those who have made it what it is. Thanks sharky for the review.

Can the 10 year olds go to bed? So tired of whingers, if you don’t like it then don’t join it, keep the comments to yourself or find a video on youtube to flame. It’s like going to McDonalds and ordering a cheeseburger and then saying “i don’t like cheeseburgers, mcdonalds sucks…” I’d love to know how you honestly survive in real life.
Love the site, love the people on there and the torrents aren’t dated. With dedicated servers offering highbandwidth on newly release torrents and a simple rule to follow that even the 10 year olds could understand - seedmore. If you do find a video/file that you’ve been looking for and it’s an old torrent, a simple “request a re-seed” will automatically send a message to all people who downloaded the file and get them to re-seed it. I’ve managed to download stuff that was over 2 years old due to the friendly users on seedmore.
The torrent database is growing by the minute and it always makes me hit my download quota for the month.

Love the review, Love the site. Been there 2 years. Some of the friendliest and most helpful of staff. They will bend over backwards to help anyone get their client connections, setup, etc all set for private sites. Looking for a special torrent, they will go out of their way to find it and if it is out there you’ll get it. As far as seeding goes… one must remember that it is the holiday season and most peeps are away, school is on break between semesters, scene people are also in the same boat. As far as the design goes, I was always a Big Soprano fan, I fell in love with the MOB design at first sight. As far as anyone not liking the site, giving a bad comment, they may have been a member that got kicked for failing to seed back or Hit & Runs. No private site will tolerate that and will give those users the boot or a pair of “cement shoes” as we call it.

I agree with Mayor. Nobody is forcing anyone to join the site. If you don’t like it, then by all means, go somewhere else. I’ve been with the site for just over 2 years. I’ve tried others, and I keep coming back to Seedmore. The main reason being that it just feels like a family. If you can’t find a torrent or need a reseed on one, all you have to do is ask and they are taken care of pretty promptly. The staff is also very helpful if you need assistance with something. There are really only two main rules with Seedmore. Be respectful of the staff and other members, and seed back what you download. If you can follow those two main rules, you won’t have any problems. If you don’t want to be respectful of other members or seed back what you downloaded, then be prepared to be fitted for a pair of concrete shoes so you can sleep with the fishes. I’ve seen more than a few people come in and start bad-mouthing the staff, only to see them get banned within a matter of minutes. Same thing with people that want to cheat their stats. That gets the ban hammer pretty quickly. Basically, if you want to be part of the family, you’ve come to the right place.

Simply put, Seedmore is *exactly* as it was intended… a place where you relax into an overstuffed chair, put your feet up, light a cigar, and swirl your brandy, as you leisurely peruse the day’s offerings…. confident that if what you’re looking for isn’t there, with a simple request, the family will provide it. With that out of the way, you can entertain yourself (and fatten your wallet) with a spin through Atlantic City… or don a courtesy gas mask and join the farting cat in IRC… and even catch up on world news briefs in the Lounge.
If you enjoy scrambling to make even basic ratio on mega trackers (or racing your seedbox to the front of the swarm to build a monster ratio)… then Seedmore probably isn’t the place for you, and that’s ok. Because at the end of the day, the cat is still farting in IRC, the website is still beautifully unique, the front door design can’t be beat, the family members are relaxing and socializing and playing and paying the bills… as we have for the past 3 years (almost 2, for me).

I’ve been on-site for almost a year. I found a home at Seedmore after floating around “the wilds” (publics) and many other private trackers. I was warmly welcomed to the site, and was a n00b when I joined. I knew almost nothing, and was quite a pain in the arse to the attentive, friendly and extremely patient staff who , at times spent up to two hours helping me solve and understand a problem. Did I say that on one occasion that several members spent two hours!!! helping me solve a problem without becoming frustrated! Then after monopolizing the staff the way I did, I was informed “not to worry about it” and was told, “We all were Noobs once.” I ask you… Where else on Earth, much less the torrenting community can you find that kind of dedication and demeanor with helping a member not known to the staff at Seedmore. I have the answer in a nutshell… NO WHERE!!! I have been on other sites and most of the time it can take from 5 days to weeks to get a response from the staff of those sites.
I haven’t even discussed the difference of seedmore’s member to that of the other site that I have visited. Seedmore is a harmonious place to be because the members become family and are treated like family. The Strife and contention I have witnessed on other sites simply does not exist on Seedmore. As we grow together as family, we truly come to care about each other. That means that we enjoy each others company and companionship. Again, another reason to join the site. I’m not going to tell anybody not to join the site. I love it too much! I think it is the best site I have been on… hands down.
I have made many real life friends on the site and am in daily contact with many of them. Simply put, Seedmore is a great place to be because of its “Family feel.” Seedmore is a close-knit community. It was designed and has been managed to be that… Family. All you have to do is obey the rules. The most fundamental rules on-site are To Earn Respect, You Must Give Respect, and Seed What You Take… The very name of the site says it all. Seedmore means Seed More!!! All in the world of P2P know that the more seeders available the faster you can leech your chosen torrents. That is what makes P2P work.
As far as I am concerned, there is only one site that I could ever call home, and that is… Seedmore.

Love the site, love the people, love the mob theme, love the sense of family, love the irc bonus megs and radio bonus megs, love the seeding bonus megs/gigs just for seeding a little longer, love the content, love the speeds, love to call it my home and last but not least love the friendly fun irc chat room i can safely say its like no other irc ive ever been on ive wasted so many hours having so much fun and made some real friends honestly the irc is where u really get that sense of family & community spirit and in my opinion its another factor that sets seedmore apart from the rest.
