Apart from shamelessly purchasing an invite from a private tracker directly (as our last post suggests), many trackers will offer non-members an opportunity to join through a web-based application form. Plug in a few details about yourself, explain why you want to join, cross your fingers and just maybe they’ll send an invitation your way. Unlike IRC interviewing, there’s no pressure on either the invitee or inviter, and potential members can take their time with the form to get it “right”. Below is a list of 19 trackers that you can apply directly to.
Private trackers that offer recruitment in this fashion are on the rise. One reason why trackers may opt for this style of invite system is to save manpower - inviteapps are much more efficient in contrast to conventional IRC interviews which tend to take up a lot of time (especially upon an initial announcement of such an invite channel). An online inviteapp can be just as effective at culling through a group of potential invitees, and staff can review the applications closely at a time that’s more convenient for them to do so.
What you need to know about tracker web invite applications:
• The more effort you put into the application, and the more thorough your answers are, the more likely you’ll be accepted. Don’t rush it; you likely only have one shot at it. We can’t stress this point more vehemently: real people are going to read your answers. Rarely will failed applicants be able to reapply. Above all else, be truthful.
• Correctly assume that your IP address will be logged with the application. This is necessary for a number of reasons. Don’t use a web (cgi/php) proxy; this just shows you have something to hide.
• If you’ve been previously disabled on the same tracker you are now attempting to (re)apply for, don’t do it. Rather, visit their IRC help/support channel for options.
• Recruiting staff have a few tricks for discovering additional information about potential invitees, which may include your involvement in ‘torrent invite’ forums, or even if you’re a member of other trackers that you didn’t mention in the application.
IMPORTANT note about these applications: Most of the appforms listed below are completed through regular HTTP, not HTTPS. Using non-secure http, there’s always a chance that the information you provide insomuch as REAL profile links to other trackers, and/or screenshots of your accounts, could be intercepted or viewed. Do so at your own risk. Only a few offer secure http app forms, such as CN

— BitTorrent’s only “packs tracker” has some of the largest torrents around. Most of the content at PackMe.in pertains to exclusive internal PiN releases unseen anywhere else. — In order to join the Swedish movie tracker Sparvar.org, aspiring members can apply through their invitation form - for which you’ll need to provide a profile link to one of their qualifying trackers.
— You won’t be able to apply directly online, but all the details you need to know can be found on their account request link.
— We can’t give out too much info about this movie tracker, aside from CN being the one of the most deeply developed, advanced trackers around. CN’s online application is currently unavailable.
- Maximum Users: 2,000
- Enabled Users: 1,792
- Torrents: 10,000+ (active on ‘browse’)
— Similar to CN, we won’t provide information about PtN. Stats for this movie tracker have been withheld upon request.
— This is one of the easiest online app forms; all you’ll need to supply is a couple of tracker names, as well as your usernames on them & a quick comment. Hermeticos is a ‘general’ Spanish tracker lists 7,838 active torrents (as of 01/17/2010).
— Perhaps torrent.e2k.ru is one of the toughest applications you’ll ever face - aspiring members will need to provide a screenshot of their torrent client in action (so they can witness your torrent speeds), as well as screenies from profile links on other trackers, among other things.
— General tracker Wild-Bytes.net (formerly .org) has an appform which has been online for at least a year now, for those times when signups are not open publicly (like right now).
— Russian tracker Peers.fm is currently accepting new applicants through their inviteme link. Translating through Google may trip you up on at least one of the questions, particularly this one, “How is the feast of leechers?”. Erm, lolwut?
— Lithuania’s #2 most-popular private tracker (second only to Linkomanija), Torrent.lt offers a quick opportunity for new members to join - simply plug in your email address, fill in the captcha and agree to the rules.
— Spanish movie/film tracker Veinticuatrofps has two language options on their application form, thus English applicants need not bother to translate the page. Movie buffs will find this invite app to be a piece of cake.
— FreeBitz - aka DanishT - is currently open for signups, in addition to their online invite form. In our attempt to register, the signup failed miserably - and an Alexa rank of 19 million suggests nothing much going on here.
Where the fuck is the point in hiding PTN’s and CN’s urls when they have both opened up their app system for others and told their members to give out the url while alerting people to the apps?
Because they are dumb fucks.
PtN app. have been closed then why are you giving the url ?
You might want to fix your article. BTN’s invites are closed and the app is dead. Anybody who didn’t get in, sux for you.
P.S. Backie is a muppet who knows nothing about p2p or the scene.
Crappy sites resorting to public apps because they can’t get good members through respectable methods of invites… what’s new?
Some new sites. Nice. Maybe one wont be useless after a couple months.
Backie - chill/grow up/shoosh etc.
Anyguys interested in getting into SCC mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org
Nice work backie! Again, proving that you know fuck all about how torrenting works, even if you have created a blog sledging off everyone that either bans you, or your friends.
You know, those links are for giving away to people who are trusted, rather than just publishing. You should know that Backie, afterall, you do claim to know your way around the FS scene enough to be able to claim what is right and wrong, yea?
Fuckin douche bag….
this is a really useful list, although certain ones like the CN link and BTN link aren’t working cos they closed signups recently (BTN closed theirs cos too many people were selling invites and cheating all over the place)
also, backie is basically a little toddler screaming for attention. ignore him.
only good tracker in that list is PTN… its a ratio free tracker with SSL encryption.
science and or nature arent interesting to you, you can fuck yourself.
And i left my acc at ptn to rot.
Not a bad site, just not a great one, was disappointed.
Black Hobbit Says:
All these tiny community trackers trying to be L33T, will end up failing in the end like SCL
You guys want to remain so secretive, that you practically need to open signups to the public just so you can get new members to donate.
Otherwise, you’ll just be gone and forgotten like SCL & FTWR
Animebyt.es has SSL application
If you guys want an invite to any of these sites they are handed out like candy over at T-I. They even have an FTN invite at the moment.
yeah that’s definitely not bullshit. definitely not.
Seems to me that FSF is running outta stuff to write about, thats why we keep seeing these lame articles lately.
PTFiles info is all wrong, open registrations have not happened for over 6 months and will never happen again in the future.
and the stats are incorrect.
Enabled users 3,522 Torrents 2,905/3,342
Thanks, the info is much appreciated. The ungrateful wastrels who complain need to get a life.
check out this webpage about a staff member of passthepoporn.
Yeah I guess it must be bullshit, huh?
FYI: FTN is quite common at T-I
Guys…..Welcome to the Ice-age!
IceTorrent is open for registrations….
dirty-deeds.biz is open sign-ups 4000 torrents and 100s added daily
PTFiles isn’t worth the time it will take to fill out the App.
They Banned anyone that uses IE.
Do they really think that people are going to change their browser, just to be on that little piece of steaming crap. NOT LoL
The’ll never get more than 2 or 3 thousand members, with Admin having attitudes like that.
PTF Blows Says:
PTF is for faggits and child molesters…Fukking douche bags!!!
heh PTF doesn’t ban ie, obviously this person and the one above this post have no idea what they talking about and are merely forum trolls.
Hello there Guys…If any of you guys wanna get into GFT mail me at “email@example.com”…add me to chat and gimme a mail..I ll give a small interview and we ll see…
Anyone want an invite for StoreThe.net?
Email me at
Yea PDQ, I guess I’m just a Forum Troll. LOL See below
Phuk PTF. It Sux Big Ones.
Is common knowledge to a vast majority of net users and most definetly web programmers that IE 6,7,8 have many ie specific bugs and issues as well as pages not being rendering properly.
a quick google for ie bugs, fixes, rendering issues would give one an idea of just how much there is.
anyways, the site uses a validation/verification system in forms that verifies that the browser that had data posted to it is the same one that started the request.
This type of ‘hashing’ is done on many sites and in many different ways and is in no way special
One known bug in ie is that, if you hit refresh/f5 on a page the Accept Header changes, this is an ie specific bug.
Reloading/f5 a page with a form in it in ie breaks the verification process.
Solution 1 for members: Don’t refresh/f5 on pages with forms, such as login, profile edit, and so on. :]
Solution 2 for members: Use most any other browser than ie.
Solution 3 for members: Grow old waiting for this to be fixed by ms.
Solution 4 for members: Don’t use the site.
^^ these make for some boring reads but they touch briefly on the issue.
so short story long the reason you got that error message was not because ie is banned but instead because you were refreshing/f5 at the login page or some other form on site using ie then tried to post form.
and the ” is optimized for Firefox, Chrome, Safari and Opera. Do not use IE.”
is nothing more than us promoting the usage of proper/more standardized internet browsers and to discourage the use of microsoft internet explorers.
there are still a few diehards on site that use it.
the site has and is being thoroughly tested in most browsers inclusing ie.
had you have joined our irc support channel or pmed a staff with your problem you would have been helped by some helpful people. but instead you had to post that it’s ’steaming crap’ lol.
how would you know it is crap? since you couldn’t signup/login. :]
anyways we probably aren’t what you looking for anyways as we are more a community & fun driven site and our members aren’t so discrespectful or drama fueled as you have been here in this thread… but you are welcome to your opinion of course.
good luck on your endeavours.
