Fake P2P files vs. Proper Releases: These websites below track the proper pirated releases of known Release Groups. This can be extremely helpful for determining whether or not that movie/game/software is the real deal, or just a scam or fake. There are no links to downloadable files - users will have to do this legwork for themselves on BitTorrent websites or on IRC.
• www.nforce.nl - Everything that’s listed here is classified as a proper ‘Release Group’ release. Users can view the accompanying *.NFO file to prove validity. All categories of pirated releases are listed (movies, TV, software, games, etc.).
• www.vcdquality.com - great site to see if that movie you found on a torrent site is real or not. Some pros agree that if it’s not listed here, don’t bother to download it.
DVD Ripping Guides.
• A Beginner’s Guide to DVD ripping - find it here on the Mininova forums.
• An Advanced Guide to DVD ripping (most DVD rippers and movie Release Groups don’t give out their trade secrets, but here’s where you can find a great guide to accomplish the same results).
